Knowledge connectors

Bring content in without creating another silo.

Good AI answers start with the content your teams already trust. OvatioIQ Knowledge includes 21 concrete source connectors so an evaluation can start with real files, messages, repositories, project records, databases, and media instead of a manually curated demo set.

Concrete source connectors

The current connector set covers AlphaSense, chat, cloud storage, Confluence, CSV, drive, email, filesystem, GitHub, HTML, Jira, mailbox, media, PDF, S3, SEC EDGAR, SharePoint, Slack, SQL, Teams, and video ingestion.

What each source gains after ingestion

Source typeBuyer benefit
Files and documentsPolicies, manuals, PDFs, CSVs, HTML exports, and local file repositories become searchable with provenance and citations.
Collaboration systemsSlack, Teams, email, mailbox, chat, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, SharePoint, and Drive content can contribute context without losing access controls.
Structured and specialized sourcesSQL, SEC EDGAR, AlphaSense, S3, media, and video sources can join the same answer and validation workflow.

Autodiscovery and plugins

For systems outside the catalog, Knowledge also includes connector autodiscovery and the OvatioIQ Plugin SDK for third-party and in-house extensions. Developers can create proprietary source connectors, ingestion enrichers, validation passes, workflow integrations, MCP tools, reusable skills, and model-provider adapters while staying inside the same tenant-scoped storage, encrypted configuration, HMAC verification for inbound events, and restricted outbound calls.

What a client or partner developer could build

  • A connector for a proprietary client portal, claims system, case-management platform, or industry database.
  • An enricher that tags documents with product lines, risk levels, regulatory categories, sentiment, or account metadata.
  • A validation pass that requires certain citations, filters restricted classifications, or boosts authoritative systems of record.
  • An MCP tool that lets an assistant look up approved account, project, or operational context during a conversation.
  • A skill that packages a repeatable workflow such as incident summary, proposal drafting, client health review, or compliance readout.

Why it matters

Every source becomes part of the same retrieval and validation surface: provenance, source authority, ACL/RBAC, redaction, and citations are applied consistently instead of being rebuilt per repository. The result is not just "more data for AI"; it is a governed knowledge layer that can answer questions and show its work.
